Saint Elizabeth Stroke Center - now nationally certified
The Saint Elizabeth Stroke Center has received national certification as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission. For people in and around Lincoln, this means you will receive some of the best stroke care in the nation right here at Saint Elizabeth! The Saint Elizabeth Stroke Center is dedicated to fostering better outcomes for stroke care. We provide rapid response in diagnosing and treating stroke patients. In addition, our highly-specialized team of stroke experts collaborates at all stages of treatment using the most advanced research and technology. These unique capabilities are essential to the realization of our ultimate goal -- to provide excellent stroke care to our patients! Multidisciplinary team At Saint Elizabeth, our medical team consists of physicians and medical specialists from the neurosciences, internal medicine, emergency medicine; critical care and stroke-trained nurses; as well as respiratory, physical, occupational and speech therapists.
