The Saint Elizabeth Stroke Center is dedicated to fostering better outcomes for stroke care. We provide rapid response in diagnosing and treating stroke patients. In addition, our highly-specialized team of stroke experts collaborates at all stages of treatment using the most advanced research and technology. These unique capabilities are essential to the realization of our ultimate goal -- to provide excellent stroke care to our patients!


Multidisciplinary team
At Saint Elizabeth, our medical team consists of physicians and medical specialists from the neurosciences, internal medicine, emergency medicine; critical care and stroke-trained nurses; as well as respiratory, physical, occupational and speech therapists.

Saint Elizabeth Stroke Program earns national Silver plus Award
The stroke program at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center has just received the Silver Plus Performance Award by the American Stroke Association (ASA)/American Heart Association (AHA).  The ASA/AHA’s “Get With the Guidelines®” (GWTG) awards are based on a medical center’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by ensuring that stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally-accepted standards and recommendations.
