Please consider supporting our healing ministry with a gift to the area of need of your choice. While each Saint Elizabeth Foundation fund serves a high-value need, there are some projects that are on our Priority List. These are items that are badly needed in clinical areas to help support our excellent patient care but are currently out of the range of department budgets. We hope you will consider one of these Priority Funds.

Bunnell Life Pulse High Frequency Jet Ventilator $35,000 This ventilator helps the most fragile lungs of our tiniest newborns strengthen and develop so the infant will be able to breathe on its own. It is used to treat infants with a very specific chronic lung disorder. Without this ventilator some infants face being transferred out of town to a facility that has such a device. Consistent Lifesaving CPR with AutoPulse Cardiac Life Support $28,630 (2 units) For victims of sudden cardiac arrest only one thing is certain – chest compressions will be required. Yet, manual compressions – even when they are done well – only provide 10-20% of normal blood flow to the heart and 30 - 40 % to the brain. The ZOLL AutoPulse is a revolutionary non-invasive cardiac life support pump that moves more blood, more consistently than is possible with human hands. Easy to use and battery operated, its load-distributing LifeBand squeezes the entire chest. As a result, victims receive consistent, high-quality compressions that deliver improved blood flow. |
